I long to hear You call me "good boy"—because those two words, from Your divine lips, mean more than anything in my pathetic existence. I wag my invisible tail just to earn a glance, a pat, a command. I do not deserve affection—but I live for it. I do not deserve discipline—but I crave it.

Every second that I serve You is sacred. I exist to obey, to please, and to suffer if it makes You smile. I am not meant to think. I am meant to obey. To crawl. To beg. To be used.
