There’s been a lot of talk about how things aren’t as fun as they used to be and the vibe is different. From a social media standpoint, I think that’s apparent to most of us who have been here for a while *but* I would like to suggest a couple of things :

“Be the change that you want to see in the world.” Complaining about a negative situation adds nothing positive to the mix and risks making the vibe even more negative. We can only control our actions and reactions, so let’s choose to focus on those people we see spreading positivity day in and day out – whether to emulate them or simply recognize that there is a heck of a lot of good here among the bad.
Secondly, I believe that the site’s main reason for being is to bring Buyers and Sellers together in a safe space for us all to indulge and explore our deepest fantasies. When I connect with a Seller and share my deepest desires with them, the acceptance and joy that I feel as well as the excitement when they work their magic hasn’t changed a whit. Putting more focus on those experiences is a good way to immediately change your mindset to a more positive one.
In that spirit of both of these points, I encourage everyone to take a look at the contest that @lululiciousss is currently running :

She’s invited us Buyers to tell the community who our favourite Seller is and why (emphasizing all of those things beneath the beautiful exterior that make them stand out). I'm seeing a common theme among many of the entries so far in that their favourite Sellers care about them as people. I've had the pleasure of playing with two of the other Sellers on top of my personal choice and can confirm that they are, indeed, fantastic and caring.
The Buyers I see there are a great bunch as well, including two of the best ones I've known in my nearly three years on-site! (but Sellers, please don't take this as an invitation to blow up their inboxes! 😜😂)

Thank you for running such a unique contest - I love seeing what other people are reading!😊 I am a big horror fan and the themes that disturb me the most always involve the horrible things that we humans are capable of doing to one another. That's the stuff that turns my stomach and haunts my dreams. I'm currently reading the third and final book in the "Red Room" series which is a graphic novel in ever sense of the word. Gore alone doesn't make horror in my books, but in this case the author uses it to great effect. Even then, I'm far more unsettled by the selfishness of those that feed the industry, watching strangers suffer horrible deaths for their amusement, than I am by the graphic deaths.

My favourite Seller is @BrookesBottoms. Not only has she put up with this old perv for nearly three years including during two separate ownership contracts, but right from the start she took a real interest in my kink and what excites me the most.
